Two Months Ago Today...

...I had my baby girl! I just cannot believe how fast time has gone by and how fast she is growing! It's amazing to watch her change...I'd say the biggest change is her ability to recognize people and smile. It's remarkably endearing to watch her look for me when someone else is holding her ;-)

We are having so much fun in Nebraska. Olivia's Dude and Uncle Jamie (okay, and her Granny, too!) seem particularly enamored with her. It was really sweet to watch James play his bass guitar for her earlier this week. As I type this, Dude is feeding her the last bottle of the day--she's fighting sleep, but it looks like he's got the hang of things!

Baby, It's Cold Outside!!

We arrived in Omaha a few days ago and Olivia was great on the trip up here! She slept most of the way, and we're hoping for the same success on the way back. In the meantime, we are having a great time visiting with my parents and friends up here in Bellevue. Last night we went for pizza at Mama Alvino's one of my FAVORITE pizza places in the world and since it's so much colder here, we had to bundle up Olivia before heading out. Thanks for letting us borrow the outfit, Jenn!

Olivia Smiles...

I'm so excited I was able to capture her smile on video today!! It is so rewarding when she looks at us with her big, beautiful smile. It's just like her Daddy's!
