About Town(s)...

Olivia and I had so much visiting with our family! About a week or so ago, Gommer was traveling around her old stomping ground with her cousin, John A. and his wife, Sue. They made a short stop at our house, and later in the week we joined them for lunch in Granbury. It was wonderful to visit with them--we definitely wish they lived closer! Gommer also made a stop in Cleburne, so Olivia and I also drove out for an afternoon visit at Aunt Betty's house. We had a great time, but wish we could have stayed longer!

Busy Little Girl...

Our little genius! Of course we think everything she does is what genius babies do--she is very matter of fact when playing with her new Exersaucer. She really loves it! She was too small at Christmas when she received it, but Aunt Maggie suggested we get it out last week and she's been busy as a bee ever since. She also decided this evening that she would roll over BOTH ways while I was out shopping. Daddy got to enjoy that little gem, which was really nice for him since he doesn't get that much one-on-one time with Olivia.

A Little Joke...

Ok, so I forgot to take Olivia's picture on her four month birthday. I take pictures of her all the time, and this ONE day I couldn't remember to get my camera out!! So, today I made up for it :-)

Olivia's Baptism

Olivia was baptized on Sunday, December 28th at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Her Aunt Maggie and Aunt Jennifer are her sponsors (godmothers). We were so happy that SO many family members could be there to share in this special day! After the service, we all gathered at Justin's parents beautiful new home for some lunch and fellowship. Thank you Lolli and Pop for letting us get together (again!!) at your house! As we were having lunch later that afternoon I looked around and was just blown away by how lucky Olivia is to have so many people that love her.

Merry Christmas!

What a great Christmas! It's also Olivia's three month birthday and what a big day she had. We opened presents and stockings at our house with my parents, Aunt Maggie, Uncle Jamie and Grandma and Grandpa Davis early this morning and then we all spent the rest of the day over at Lolli and Pop's house. We had a very blessed Christmas and are thrilled that we have so much of our family around and we hope that you all did, too!

It's Party Time!

I know, I know...I've been horrible at keeping the blog updated! We been too busy partying! Just kidding, but here's some pics from the RCO Christmas party and the Hartley Christmas party. No, we're not Hartleys, but we are lucky enough to be considered honorary Hartleys and thus invited to their FUN party. Olivia had fun at her very first Christmas party, and she even got to meet Santa!!
No, Santa didn't scare her, I think she just got hungry or something, but this pic of her crying just makes me laugh. Am I a horrible mother??

Two Months Ago Today...

...I had my baby girl! I just cannot believe how fast time has gone by and how fast she is growing! It's amazing to watch her change...I'd say the biggest change is her ability to recognize people and smile. It's remarkably endearing to watch her look for me when someone else is holding her ;-)

We are having so much fun in Nebraska. Olivia's Dude and Uncle Jamie (okay, and her Granny, too!) seem particularly enamored with her. It was really sweet to watch James play his bass guitar for her earlier this week. As I type this, Dude is feeding her the last bottle of the day--she's fighting sleep, but it looks like he's got the hang of things!

Here are few pictures I captured yesterday of Olivia in a flight suit. Turns out they look good on everyone!
